Who is going to coach you?

Your coach sets you one session a day and talks you through it, in your ear.

Shepherd is an iPhone app, free with your coach. It opens with the first coaches in January 2027.

Shepherd’s Today on a Thursday at 7:14: nine days running, Day twelve, squats and hinges, about fifty minutes, and Begin. Under the session, a note from Cali is waiting.

7:14 · Your morning

You wake up to one session, and a note from Cali.

Nine days running

Day twelve.

Squats and hinges · about fifty minutes

Shepherd opens on the session Cali set for today, how long it takes, and one button to begin. Under it is what she left you this morning, about the box squat.

Every weekday at seven she reads how your week is going. If it has gone quiet, you hear from her, in her own voice.

Cali, in your ear: every voice note between you in one thread. Cali on Monday, 38 seconds: “Week two is where people quit. Two sessions and you are through.” You, on Monday, 12 seconds. Cali on Tuesday, 22 seconds: “That box call was the right one.” Under them, Hold to reply.

At lunch you open The Reset, the eight-week program you bought from Cali in February. It is still yours. Nothing Cali does later reaches it.

What comes with it

  • Thirty-two sessions, eight weeks
  • The Rally and the Thursday clinic
  • Cali’s voice on every lift

18:02 · The session

Between sets four and five, Cali’s voice is in your ear.

Rack the bar and the note she left you this morning plays while you rest. It’s the one about the box squat.

18:02 · Sam, back squat, set 4 of 5

You said it at 7:14, between Jordan and Theo. Sam hears it on the bench between sets, with his phone on the floor by his feet.

Sam racks the bar, steps back and sits on the bench with his head down. His phone lies lit on the floor at his feet.

Your data · Whoop, Oura and what Cali sees

You decide what Cali sees, one signal at a time.

Shepherd reads your Whoop, Oura or Apple Health. Your heart rate while you train, your sleep and recovery and your steps each have their own switch, and Cali sees only the ones you leave on.

You can switch any of them off whenever you like, and we never sell your data.

Your data, in the app. “Whoop is current.” Whoop · read two minutes ago. A gauge reads 78 recovered: “Whoop’s own number, shown the way Whoop means it.” Under “What Cali sees”, three switches, each with Cali’s face: heart rate while you train, during sessions only, on; sleep and recovery, the trend, not the raw nights, on; steps and daily movement, outside your sessions, off.

Today · Questions

What you might ask us before you join.

Anything else, write to us at rosemancam@gmail.com.

Do I pay for Shepherd?

No. Your coach pays us for Shepherd, and you use it free with them. If you buy one of their programs, you pay for that once, inside the app.

What happens to a program I buy?

It’s yours, permanently. You pay once, through the App Store, and nothing your coach does later reaches it. If they stop selling it, it stays on your shelf and you keep training it.

Does my coach see my heart rate and sleep?

Only what you switch on, one signal at a time: your heart rate while you train, say, or your sleep as a trend rather than the raw nights. You can switch any of it off whenever you like, and we never sell it.

Can I say no when my coach knocks?

Yes. Your coach asks first, always, and “Not right now” is one tap. You can also switch drop-ins off, and they leave a note instead. If you let them in, it’s voice only: no camera, and nothing is recorded.

Can I talk back?

Yes, the way your coach talks to you. Every voice note between you sits in one thread, and you hold to reply.

What if I change coach?

What you buy stays yours, so your programs come with you. Each one is bought once and stays on your shelf, whoever you train with next.

Is it iPhone only?

Yes. Shepherd is a native iPhone app, for you and for your coach. It can read a Whoop, an Oura or Apple Health, and whether you connect one is up to you.

I don’t have a coach yet. Where do I start?

With the question Shepherd opens on: “Who is going to coach you?” You can look for a coach inside the app, by what they coach or by city, and each one shows how many people train with them and how many finish what they start.

When can I get it?

Shepherd opens with its first coaches on Monday 11 January 2027, and more follow on 8 February and 8 March. You get it when your coach does, and we move you in with them. Join the waitlist and we’ll write when it’s your turn.
